Present environment of customer:

The coverage of customer's company is large and dispersed, including office building, manufactory workshop, warehouse and so on. The furthest one, such as the warehouse, is several kilometers far from headquarters. The nearest one is also three or four hundred of meters from headquarter. Every branch has its independent local area network (LAN), uses corresponding information system, store data in their respective servers, can not be exchanged.

With the development and growth of customer's company, it must link its branches together to build up an integrated corporation network.

A series of issues are listed in front of corporate IT personnel:

• How to integrate the LAN of each branch

• If using traditional cabling system, it is not only difficult to construct in an existing enterprise, but also waste of time and manpower. Moreover, the connection between some constructions maybe spanned by national highways and rivers, but the connecting cables are requested, this kind of engineering is more complex and difficult

• If current bandwidth of leased line which connect between center build and branch is not enough. It is possible to upgrade bandwidth to higher, but the expense will be very higher than establishing a wired network

• Some of the employees need to move between workshops and warehouses. How to ensure that their laptops can work properly in roaming

Introduction of the project implementation:

Cisco Aironet wireless bridge, specially designed for the connection between two or more networks, is able to transmit large amount of data, provide high rate of data transmission and excellent capability of taking in and sending out. Its security level of data is not lower than traditional wired network. Other advantages of it include that it will not be influenced by the weather and do not need to ask for using license of wireless spectrum.

You can install a Cisco Aironet 1400 wireless bridge on the top of each building, together with an AIR-ANT58G9VOA-N full-direction antenna, and then connect the segments of separate buildings into the corporate network. If other buildings need append to the corporate network, such as workshops and warehouse, will also be installed Cisco Aironet 1400 wireless bridges.

According to their distance from the central building, they can be installed sector antenna AIR-ANT58G10SSA-N or dish antenna AIR-ANT58G28SDA-N. There will be a one-to-many connection between the central building and other buildings. As Air-ANT 4121 full-direction antenna supports 11 transmitting channels, three full-direction antennas use different wireless channels, which will not interfere each other.

You can install several Cisco Aironet 1200 access point at each branch, to build up a pure wireless network, or to be the access point between the wired network and the wireless one. In that way, all users, who have a WLAN adapter, can access to every expanded area with freedom and keep the connection with all network resources continuously.
