 For storage system, maybe your company needs a series of integrated, functionable and manageable solutions. As the solution, we deploy a set of SAN cluster with  6TB NetApp iSCSI channels, including a couple of NetApp storage system, which can switch each other to address high usability. One system provides space of  storage for SAP and three basic Oracle database, which approximately deal with two million transactions per hour. Another system supplies SAN space of storage for  exchange server, which provides email service to more than 2500 users. If a NetApp system is break down, another one will take over data service from it automatically  to protect the usabilities of Exchange and SAP. Moreover, we can append IBM TSM backup server and tape library into the SAN to protect data security in system and  realize the management concentrated.

 The main advantage of deploying SAP application on the NetApp is the non-stop running, which means running 24 hours every day, 7 days every week and 365 days  every year. There is no breaking time which out of plan, except one or two times of maintenance to switch off the machine every year. In terms of business efficiency,  the managers will be able to gain more useful data so as to access key information more conveniently, with which to make crucial policies, which speeds up the  process of making decisions.
